Scammers are still out there:

IBEW & UW FCU has been alerted that a number of people are receiving unexpected phone calls, text messages, and emails from someone claiming to be from IBEW & UW FCU. The messages ask you to call a particular phone number or visit a web site for any number of "urgent" reasons.

Do we send text messages? No; at the present time, IBEW does not send text messages at all. If you should receive one that asks you to call a certain phone number or to go to a particular web site , it is a scam.

Do we make phone calls to members? Yes, we do. There are many instances in which we need to contact members by phone. However, we will never ask you your PIN, credit or debit card number, etc. in an unsolicited phone call.
